GCSE ICT Opinions Needed

Hi, I'm taking GCSE ICT as one of my subjects. It isn't the best course the majority of the subject is based off Microsoft Office however it is required if you want to take ICT at A level at my school.

I am currently designing a hotel database system in Microsoft Access and part of the coursework is to write a User Manual. I have almost completed the manual but need to design a front page. I went over board and created two designs and 4 different renditions and am now stuck on which one to use..

ICT is a joke at A level. You want to take computing as A level, not ICT

A word of advice - use proper Windows screenshots. They'll mark you down for using a different OS. Also, don't use OpenOffice - they'll mark you down for that too. It happened to me, so I only got a A. Take screenshots of it under MS Office.

Thanks for your reply, the screenshots I have done so far are from windows however on the title page for the effect i wanted I used compiz. Time to gimp out my linux borders

Fortunatley the whole OOo - Word issue isn't a problem for me, our teacher wants coursework in PDF's and the exam board wants it on paper. Just a lot of wasted paper..

I've seen what they do in those classes. It's the same as full-course GCSE. They were "making" websites with Serif WebPlus. I don't think it's even a proper A-level.
