Smile Window size according to their content

Hello, sorry for my deplorable English. I just want to ask a question, maybe someone can solve my problem.
I need (want) to my windows desktop operating in a similar way as they do with OS X, ie, they are not maximized it is "fit" the content and avoid wasting space.
My question is can I do this with Compiz on Gnome?

Yes, you can do it with Compiz Window Rules plugin. Although it doesn't adapt automatically according to the content itself. You need to create rules based on applications, window types and titles. So it is possible for example to create rules for specific web sites using the window title.

You might also want to use the Place Windows plugin to force each window position.

In part, I understand. We need to know in what way Exposé works.
Perhaps publishing the idea of brainstorming we ever see this feature in our window managers. Of course, thank you very much.

Anyway, if anyone else has any ideas, I would appreciate.

That is available through the Window Picker function of the compiz Scale plugin.

That is what Exposé on MAC does:

    From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exposé_(Mac_OS_X)

Exposé is a feature of the Mac OS X operating system. First previewed on 23 June 2003 at the Worldwide Developers Conference as a feature of the then forthcoming Mac OS X v10.3,[1] Exposé allows a user to quickly locate an open window, or to hide all windows and show the desktop without the need to click through many windows to find a specific target.
    From: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Expos%C...r_applications

Compiz and KWin are compositing window managers for systems using the X Window System. Both provide similar functionality to Exposé, notably the scale plugin in Compiz and the present windows effect in KWin.
Nevertheless, I'm not sure if the Exposé allows you to work on each window simultaneously or simply select a window to maximize, like the Compiz plugin. If that is what you want, then my first suggestion would be more appropriate.

Perhaps you could be more specific about what you want. Although the forums do not allow to post in other languages, you could post in English and in Castellano simultaneously if that would help you. I can understand your language pretty well, although I only speak Portuguese.

Exposé Perhaps not, what I mean is that attached to the image.
Clicking on "maximize" adjusting the window size according to their content. It's just
    that.

Yes, I am using the google translator from Spanish. Maybe that's why they have some inconsistencies.

I'm afraid you won't be able to do that automatically. I guess my first suggestion is the closest you can get.

I thought so, I think it would be good to leave the subject here.

    Thank you very much.
