    Help! Laptop won't boot

    Compaq Presario cq50-130us notebook won't boot. Says windows Vista failed to start. Status Oxcooooooe app is missing or corrupt? any ideas?

    Did you install ubuntu on a windows PC? You probably nuked windows bootloader or possibly screwed up the system files needed to boot if you resized that partition. More info would be helpful. Does the grub menu appear and can you boot into ubuntu?
