Dears,
I'm running Ubuntu 9.10 on an ACER Aspire 5105 (ATI Radeon X1300). After some package updates, some applications based on VTK crashed (Paraview and others I'm developing), with the following error:

Code:
drmRadeonCmdBuffer: -12. Kernel failed to parse or rejected command stream. See dmesg for more info.
I found this thread http://bugs.freedesktop.org/show_bug.cgi?id=23993 with a patch at Comment#32. Do you think it can solve my problem? How can I install that patch? Or how can I find and downgrade the broken package?

Many Thanks

Luca
