NAS server - help finding a Linux friendly one

I need help finding a Linux friendly NAS server that has 750GB or more storage and capable of RAID 5.

Can anyone suggest a brand or model that can meet my needs?

I'm not interested in a do it yourself one.

sorry, i live and die by the build-it-yourself mantra, so i know nothing about off-the-shelf NAS devices (aside from what we use in my datacenter, but those are just a tad pricy)

I picked up a two bay synology a few months ago, and am quite pleased with it. runs linux underneath, and ssh gets you right in. already hacked it a few ways from sunday
Things are rarely just crazy enough to work, but they're frequently just crazy enough to fail hilariously.
