    My laptop running a environnement Ubuntu Lucid Lynx 10.04 with genius "IBM ThinkPad T40".

    Why my laptop boot in 34 seconds, it's very slow, no ?

    I have same problem as original poster. Doing the blacklist thing did not work for me. I'm on a Thinkpad R40, not a T40, but the output to the queries above (lshw, et cetera) look the same as far as I can see.
