Ubuntu software to analyze ABI 310 output files

    Hello all.

I was looking for an FLOSS software (linux preferably) to analyze sequence data from an ABI 310 sequencer.

Most people use: GeneMapper, or Sequencher. I personally used to use GeneMaker, which had an evaluation version. But I haven't been able to find something for linux.

Does anybody know if any software like this exists?

Thanks in advance for all your help. I'm really desperate for something, so anything you have, please throw it in my direction.

    Thanks.

    Camp.

It is not an open source, but I use FinchTV, which runs on Linux and can be downloaded for free.

This is a great program, but I forgot to mention that I need the program to analyze microsatellite data. FinchTV looks like it only works with sequence data. I confess my original post is misleading. Nevertheless, thank you very much for this suggestion.

Thanks. This is a great list, but again, it is dealing mostly with DNA sequence alignment. I should have made myself clearer.

I need a program similar to genemapper or genemarker. I've managed to run GeneMarker demo version using WINE, but some features are not working properly (like recognizing the size standards). If I get it to work, I{ll report back.

I misunderstood. I never used the mentioned software. You can look here for a list of packages installed in Bio-Linux.

If money is not an issue, I know that CLC bio supports Linux.
