HP Mini 210 touchpad right click not working

Hello everyone. I'm a newbie in this forum so please excuse me if i mislabeled something. I just bought an HP Mini 210 and installed UNR on it. I solved a problem with the wireless connection but now I can't figure out how to fix the touchpad. The pointer works (moves) and the left click works like a charm. However I cannot do right clicking (when I touch the button it only does left click instead). Since the buttons are IN the touchpad itself, I think this is the source of the problem.

Also, if someone knows why I get a black screen of death after closing and re-opening the lid, I would welcome any advice.

I've got a similar problem with the touchpad. I can left click only by tapping the pad (clicking on the bottom left cornet will not work) No right click and no click and drag.


Any ideas?

I've got the same issue. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

The "trigger secondary click by holding down primary button" (under System> Mouse) isn't a disaster if you really need a right click, at least.

I can't help with the touchpad, but perhaps with the
black screen. I have a Mini 110. Closing the top
puts it in sleep mode (this is customizable). Opening
reawakens it, but the screen is blanked. When I come
back from sleep I wait a couple of seconds then press
"fn f4" which is the hardware keystroke to brighten the screen and then it comes back.

To get the trackpad working correctly you need to use the terminal and enter in the below commands. Make sure you press enter after each command:

sudo su

echo options psmouse proto=exps > /etc/modprobe.d/psmouse.modprobe

reboot

Once the computer reboots your trackpad will be able to do left click and drag and right clicking.

This is great. Thank you so much. Worked perfect. Now if we can get two finger scrolling working, I'll be set.

Thanks, it worked for me too. As JCasper said, now I only need the double scrolling. Is it possible to set the touchpad "clickable" area? because the right and left buttons are embedded in the touchpad and the cursor moves everytime i click.

AWSOME!!!! WORKED PERFECTLY! THANK YOU VERY MUCH, I have hp mini 210 also and have been wondering about this for awhile now. Just curious though... what is two finger scrolling?
