Is there any Acronis like software to backup?

Hi,

I still use pen and paper although currently I starting to use TreePad for linux as a logbook, but as always you have to remember to backup the logbooks preferably to CDR but if you doing a lot of updates and changes the paper log book works out cheaper.

I am really thankful of you all that are helping me stand on Ubuntu
NOW I can see how the Community and the internet may support a thing
and how valuable it is ,
Is there any software for log book, or I should do it myself?
I have experienced RedHat and OpenSuse before and still ubuntu
but I didn't come to them academically
Now I am studying a book of ubuntu
so I did realize that the Community is very important for all linux based OSs
really enjoyable unforgettable experience on this kinda community

I use zim, it is in the repositories. the notes are stored in a directory called notes, this gets backed up daily, along with the rest of my home directory.

What's a logbook? =) Some software that keeps track of changes??

I use a notebook (paper) and zim to log changes I make to the system.
