System Monitor Display Too Big to Change

The shaky display I posted about earlier today was making me seasick, so I thought I'd try changing the screen resolution. The wobbliness not only increased. but the box is SO BIG that I can't see the "apply" button to change it back! I'm posting from another computer, as my display is no longer of practical use.

Is there a keyboard command that will allow me to put my screen resolution back to normal size?

start in recovery mode and see if ya can do someting there

the xfix option should do it maybe?

I tried recovery mode, scrolled through the options, but didn't see anything that looked like it might help.

It seems like this happened once on another computer, and there was a keyboard command that would move the window so you could see the bottom of the dialog box and click the "apply" button. I'm googling, but not coming up with anything yet...

Hold the alt key down & left click on a the screen to drag it into view.
