Panels - New Programs fail to show active...

Hi All
I am running 9.10 (Karmic)
kernal 2.6.31-18
gnome 2.28.1

The problem - I believe a recent upgrade has unsettled the panels from showing active programs.
I have tried to delete them and restup but still will not show programs running...

For Example - Rhythembox seems to be running in the background minimised,on ever startup now, I know this because a error message comes up that it cant find demuxes for certain files so it cant play them. Thats not the problem tho. I know this minimizes to the panel but is not visable.

Another example is when I X out of Skype it usually minimizes to the panels.

If I open System Monitor I can see them them running - just not on the panels?!

Has anyone else had this problem and found a fix recently?

Problem appears to be fixed - When I rebuilt the panel I did forgot to add the Indication applet ...session applets - "Doh"!

Therefore this thread is Closed!! :/

I have the same problem as described in the OP, but I have tried all of the indicator applets and none will display the running apps, only that weather and alarm clock are running. Any ideas?
