1. The various ways to get help in case of a problem (forums, irc, google, locos) and information that Ubuntu is NOT Windows and it will not run windows programs but has good substitutes for commonly used apps
2. YES!
3. No, an entry in the 'System' menu would seem better
4. It would depend on the size of the manual
5. PDF would be okay since Ubuntu has native support
6. Firefox and Empathy, then OpenOffice
7. Display, Sound and Disk Drives (since these are the major hurdles users face)
