ubuntu 9.10 reinstall problems

Hi. I had to reinstall ubuntu 9.10 because of video problems. Now i have more problems then ever. I fixed the video problem but now i can't use my eject buttens on the drives them self. I know about the eject (drive name) command and the keyboard short cuts but i would like to use the drive buttons and my other problem is that my logitech s520 wireless keyboard is not working properly, i sometimes have to press the key multiple times for it to work or sometimes i press it once and it thinks i have pressed it like 10 times. the mouse is fine and it is not a battery problem or a connection problem because i have tried them both. This problem is off and on

ok i have seemed to have fixed the keyboard problem.... don't know how though... but still would like help with the button problem.
