    siguro parang medyo risky nga para sa "patent trap" hindi ko pa nattry ang KDE. might try it next time. pero so far, enjoy ko ang minimalistic feature ng GNOME sa lucid lynx ko.

    mas ok na nga ang gumamit ng open source kesa naman mag-hack at crack ng mga licensed apps. minsan no choice kasi talaga, at mapapagamit talaga ng mono, kasi for now, dahil sa madaming gumagamit, nagiging de facto standard sya. hindi ko din kaya maging absolute na open source software user kaya, enjoy ko nalang ang both sides. ang hirap magtiis ng .ogg ang music files. haha.

    unti pa lang naman mono apps... tomboy, gnome-do (cguro pati si docky), gbrainy, f-spot, and banshee. meron pa ba?

    naku, uso pa naman ang mga demandahan ngayon, lalo na sa software industry. google, java, etc. haha.

    pero tingin ko, hindi naman mababago ang shares ng msoffice ng dahil lang sa openoffice. ang sabihin nila, mas madami na ang cracked na msoffice.

    ang hinahabol naman ng microsoft is mga corporate users... dun malaki pera. Example lang naman yung openoffice pero malay mo d b? What if naiba ihip ng hangin at iniwan ng gnome ang gtk to mono? hahahaha...

    ang FUD nga naman.

    ah, yun ba dahil kung bakit ayaw nyo mag Gnome? Well, I don't really care what's inside my OS as long as I can SSH, use a browser, do funky stuff and secure ang environment ko.

    At bakit ko pinili ang Gnome over KDE? In my opinion Gnome compared to KDE is more minimalist than KDE
