I'm having some issues with my CD/DVD drive in Ubuntu. When I first start up Ubuntu the drive works fine, but after I eject the disc that was in there, it doesn't seem to be able to mount the drive again. When I try to mount it by right clicking, I get this message: mount: special device /dev/scd1 does not exist. I'm not sure if this is the problem, but for some reason the "CD/DVD Drive" icon isn't the one it uses, but instead uses "cdrom2." When I right click on "CD/DVD drive" I don't even get the option to mount/eject it.
