    Password for default keyring

I an on a wireless network and as long as I am logged in as myself I can login no problem. When my daughter logs in under her account I need to enter the WEP encryption code, which I do, and then I get the option to save it. I am then presented with a dialog box asking me to enter an admin password so that the default keyring can save the encryption key. No matter what password I put in, it does not work.

My daughter does not have any kind of admin rights and I am not sure how to get around this. I obviously do not want her to have to re-enter the encryption key every time she logs on. Any advice is appreciated

    Thanks.

    I'm using Ubuntu 9.10

Did you use unsafe storage? If not try removing all the saved info for your connections and then remove the connection. Then reconnect and after you enable the new connection if it comes up asking you for a keyring password leave it blank and continue on. Youll get a warning about unsafe storage yada yada and accept it. Ive done this everytime and havent had a problem hopefully this will work for you.

I'm not sure what you mean by unsafe storage. Neither am I sure how to remove all saved info for my connections or how to remove a connection. Could you please explain?

    Thanks.
