Problem playing flash game

Hi there,

I am trying to play this game:

But it flashes/flickers a lot so it's practically unplayable.

I am using:

adobe-flashplugin version 10.0.42.34-2karmic1(karmic)

I am running ubuntu 9.10 karmic 32-bit.

Youtube runs just fine.

Does anyone have any suggestions?

I´m running same Ubuntu version with same adobe-plugin version and I can play that gane just fine.I know this is not answer to your question.It is just info.Maybe something else is not right.I don´t know.

Do you have any visual effects on?

System -> Appearance -> Visual Effects

I forgot to say, this happens in all browsers:

Epiphany, Chromium and Firefox
(Haven̈́'t tried Opera yet).

I am on a HP Laptop dv6000, Nvidia GeForce Go7400, Intel HDA, 2 GB RAM, stock Ubuntu 9.10 with Gnome.

Weird, now I've tried to disable Visual Effects, but it still does the flashing/flickering in Bloons TD4

I can play Bloons TD3 with no problems

I have similar problem (though I can run aforemention game)
namely after recent update of flash plugin (from ubuntu repository) I experience various problems with flash apps in mozilla firefox - they stop functioning or does not want to run (i.e. apps from issuu.com)
yea, I forgot to say that I run intrepid (8.10) with firefox 3.5.7 but the same was with firefox 3.0.15 after the aforementioned update
I had similar problem some 6 months ago but with one of the updates problem was solved
so I thing that there the problem is some kind of compatibility issue regarding the firefox and new adobe flash plugin ...

Which version of adobe-flashplugin are you running?

If you read my posts - then you will notice that it is in all browsers - not just firefox that this problem occurs (did you try other browsers as well? )
