Intel 82801H sound problem
Hey everyone!
I have a weird problem with my Toshiba L40 notebook!
I installed Ubuntu 9.10 yesterday, and I get weird sounds when I start playing music, or some sound starts.
My soundcard is Intel 82801H, lspci says:
00:1b.0 Audio device: Intel Corporation 82801H (ICH8 Family) HD Audio Controller (rev 03)
When I get new message on MSN (it indicates a sound), or I start playing a video on youtube, or an mp3, a short "popping, raspy" sound is audible. It is very annoying. This weird sound is very short, and it occurs only in the beggininng of a new sound event, or when I adjust the volume with the control on the panel.
Do you guys have any suggestions?
