    Question ATI Radeon HD 2600XT

    I need help using my video card to it's full potential. When I activate the driver and restart Ubuntu 9.10 hangs with a black screen. Does anyone have any clue how to fix this?

    Try pressing ctrl+alt+f1. Do you go to the console? Good. Now Login and type

    less /var/log/Xorg.0.log

    Look at the bottom lines. They might be usefull. You might even post them here.
