On topic, i do think the name change better reflects what kde is. I love to try out parts of the comilation soon, but i'm too lazy to compile it myself so is there a ppa yet?

I upgraded KDEmod to 4.3.4 yesterday, not in a rush to try out the beta.

No. I'm unsure if I'm going to try it out or wait until the final release. None the less, this release looks like it's going to be great.

Have you been following Konqueror at all? I really like the browser, but last I read they were unforking webkit and using khtml. I've heard talk of adopting webkit fully though.

I'd like it if they switched to WebKit as well. I don't think they've officially switched, but it may be at least an option officially, as in the list of changes it says they've done work to better integrate QtWebKit into KDE. So that's a start at the very least.
