1. My first Ubuntu experience was version 8.04 "Hardy Heron"
2. I have Aspergers, a type of high-functioning autism
3. I use Ubuntu only on my laptop because I found out that I can do the same tasks whether I am in Windows or Ubuntu
4. I try avoid religious or political discussions because I have gotten banned from forums due to those discussions. It was the mods, I swear!
5. I am generally not well liked on forums for some unexplainable reason.
6. I ended my relationship with Microsoft on my laptop as soon as I got it.
7. My dad doesn't know how safe I really am on the internet and has blocked IRC clients except web-based ones through our firewall.
8. I am a trumpet player and have been playing it for at least 8 years.
9. Despite the complaints about Ubuntu 9.10, my experience so far has been very smooth with little trouble.
10. I think Windows 7 is a remarkable OS despite it being viewed as another service pack for Vista. On a side note. I like Vista. It never gave me problems.

I am going to repeat what I said above. If you don't like this thread, then don't post. I just want to get to know my fellow Linux users. I know I could use the IRC to know my fellow Linux users, but I'd rather make this thread instead. I've already been banned from one forum because of ignorant jerks and I don't want it to happen here.

1- my screenname, megrimn, was really just supposed to be megrim, but someone on newgrounds already had it. megrim kind of means migrane, or headache.
2- first ubuntu was 8.04
3- I like mixing sour cream with my ketchup for my french fries.
4- I play 'french' horn. (calling it a 'french' horn is actually improper; the IHS says it's really just a horn.)
5- as of right now, I am a sophomore music education major
6- I have a fettish for Sonic the Hedgehog games. (esp. the music from the recent games)
