Pls Help... I am not able to Play Audio or Video..

Am using Ubuntu 9.10 the latest version of Ubuntu... But am not able play video or Audio file.. it showing me a error. And i download the live CD from a Cyber Cafe and Installed in my home pc. In my home i dont have internet.

So pls tell me how to solve this probelm..

i had this same problem(not having internet) when i started using ubuntu previous versions. I will help you on this . I have one old idea to play Mp3 files . i will update soon

below the Download real player button ,there is advanced option , click on the

DEB Package and save it on the computer . Then execute it , this will install real player . You can hear mp3 songs and play some open source video formats

use keryx (plz google it for the link) for updates and installations downloaded on another machine.you need to download ubuntu restricted extras through keryx to make the multimedia work.

I got one more problem now. my Ubuntu Display kinda Blur.. I have a taken a screen shot of it and am posting it here.

But this image is clear in Windows Image viewer Except Ubuntu Viewer... I think there is something wrong with Ubuntu Display setting..

Am using 1400 x 900 19" Samsung Monitor.

Pls Help me..
