I have been investigating ubuntu (my first Linux OS) for about two weeks and am enjoying the experience. A message has cropped up on the black screen between the Grub menu and the ubuntu logo splash which I just don't understand and I would greatly appreciate hearing from you experts. The message, which runs across the top of the screen says -
vga=771 is deprecated. Use set gfxpayload=800x600 before Linux command instead
This is telling me to do something (I think) but I have no idea what! Can anyone please help on this?
