    Unhappy Sony Cyber-Shot DSC-W55

When I plugged in my camera in 9.04 I immediately had access to my pictures in my camera. I didn't have to do anything special or download any files. Everything just worked. The flash drive in the camera was automatically mounted. In 9.10 I can not get it to recognize the camera. What am I going to have to do?

    Bump.
There are no real error messages to post. I/O error. My USB sticks work so the USB subsystem is working. Please don't tell me I am going to have to downgrade to 9.04 to be able to access my camera again.

Is there any info I need to post to help solve this issue?

ok so the fix was very simple..

Step 1- connect your camera with the original usb cable, from camera to computer.

Step 2 - click the menu button on the camera, click usb connect and select mass media storage option.

Thats it your ubuntu install will detect and mount the memory card on your camera automatically.
