Sorry for the lame question but I have configured synaptics driver (with two and three fingers tapping, scrolling etc) and want to have additional gestures like zooming and rotating, for example. Can I use your driver on top of synaptics? Or it's a replacement only without any configuration abilities?
This is a completely separate, stand-alone driver. You can not use the Synaptics driver and the mtrack driver on the same device.
The mtrack driver will only work on true multitouch devices which have kernel support.
Gentoo Developer Extraordinaire
the binaries link for Ubuntu is broken on github (dev.fatalmachine.org).
I tried getting the source and compiling but got this error:
I'm using 11.10.Code:configure.ac:21: error: must install xorg-macros 1.8 or later before running autoconf/autogen
I installed xutils-dev but that didn't solve it.
I also installed xorg-macros from source from X.org, but that didn't help either.
The Ubuntu binaries are broken.........
