I have a pppoe adsl connection. When I disconnect and try to reconnect, network-manager keeps asking for my password. I type it again and again with no success. When I reboot, it works again. What causes the problem? I use ubuntu 9.10.

I solved the problem by killing nm-applet and starting it again!
