Wine on 64 bit Ubuntu

Hello, I was just curious about someting...

Is the version of Wine that's packaged for 64bit Ubuntu (not the one in the Ubuntu repos, but the development release you can get from winehq) a 64 bit version of Wine, or is it a 32 bit version of Wine packaged for the 64 bit version of Ubuntu?

All the latest Ubuntu packages can be found here (both 64bit & 32bit packages of all past Wine releases).

Thanks, i was wondering what version im using of wine, id assumed that the ubuntu 64 bit repository thingy would get the 64 bit one, could a 32 bit version on 64 bit ubuntu be causing my game to crash i wonder?

Actually Wine is really only offered as a 32bit package as far as I know (meaning when you install the "64bit" packages it installs to libs32 which is 64bit backwards support for 32bit applications)

And no odds are what ever crashes you are experiencing are linked to issues with Wine itself and not bitage of the program/Wine
