Creating Windows Bootable USB/CD/DVD on Ubuntu 9.10

    hi,

with ubuntu 9.10 installed on a system, i am curious to know how the following is done:

    1. to create a Windows 7 bootable USB drive and
Windows 7 bootable CD/DVD (when a Windows 7 DVD image file is available)

    2. to create a Windows XP bootable USB drive
and Windows XP bootable CD/DVD (when only a folder containing the OS setup and related files are available)

    Thank You

You can directly right clock the image and give write to disc. Else you can use any disc burining software like gnome bake

Your best bet is to use the original media provided by your vendor or obtained from MS. Regardless of how you ended up with folders instead of images, there may be no way to recreate those images now. Hopefully all these Windows copies are legitimate, right?
