    Thumb Drive Problem

If i put in my 4gig thumb drive, it says unable to mount,I have tried making a mount folder and mounting again, but still it does not work. With my 1 gig i was transferring pictures and had about 900 mb, after the files were off it says it only had 100mb of memory, and after more files being put on and erased it got to only 10mb, but its compleatly clear. any idea on how to fix this?

I am not sure on why your 4 gig thumb drive is not mounting. However on your other thumb drive, when you delete them on the thumb drive it puts them all in a recycle bin on your thumb drive, to delete it, mount your thumb drive and push cntrl + H. this makes your hidden files viewable, now just delete the trash bin.

as to the 4 GB thumb drive, you might see if gparted sees it when you plug it in. if it does, see what it's partitioned as.

well i guess i spoke a little too soon,it almost completely fixed the problem,so thanks a lot, but there is 300 mb in "trashinfo"files that still wont delete.
but thanks 700mb is a whole lot better than 10.
