Problem: Video play equals high CPU load

Laptop: dell xps m1330, original os - Vista
Processor: Intel core 2 duo 2.2Ghz
    Ram: 2 GB

lspci | grep i vga results:
00:02.0 VGA compatible controller: Intel Corporation Mobile GM965/GL960 Integrated Graphics Controller (rev 0c)

Problem: With Ubuntu 10.04 video takes a lot out of processor (intel core 2 duo). When youtube or vimeo video running the processor load indicator shows about 50% and higher. I did a test - I installed windows 7 with correct intel graphics drivers and the cpu load indicator shows processor usage a great deal lower.

How can i solve this video/CPU issue? I really really want to stick with ubuntu.

    Thanks for any assistance
