9.10 problem

hi,

just finished the installation (twice) and everything went good but after enabling Nvidia drivers and rebooting the system nothing happens, there is no UI there is no command line.


is there any fix for that?

is there an issue with the recommended nvidia drivers on ubuntu 9.10?

try to boot with ubuntu safe and reinstall the drivers from there.............

it only works with 96 version of nvidia driver...

i tried all the other versions and no luck...

so nvidia-glx-96 works on 64 bit ubutnu 9.10


i have no idea why is that so because the same system running ubuntu 9.04 worked fine
