Is there an alternative to Konqueror?

Konqueror is rubbish! (WOW! A bold statement!) It will not work with some of my favourite web pages, including some important ones! I am only using it because I am having problems with upgrading to 9.10.

Is there an alternative, eg, Firefox?
    My calendar is confused
At the beginning it has M and T for Monday and Tuesday
At the end it has 2 S' for Saturday and Sunday
    In the middle; WTF?

Arora is written in Qt (so it won't pull quite so many deps)
    Firefox as mentioned
    Opera
    Chrome

the list goes on really. I use firefox on the KDE desktop - if you install gtk-qt-engine-svn you can make it look better

You could try rekonq, which is very similar to konqueror, but uses the webkit engine (like arora and safari do). See...

As a universal KPart embedder? No.
    As a file manager? Dolphin.
As a web browser? Arora, Chromium.
