Hi all, I'm having trouble finding the right 'setup'
for my equalizer when im listening to Hip Hop.
I have 15 GB's of Hip Hop so i need help. :S

Any ideas, downloads or anything?
Or else please link me a tutorial for how to setup your equalizer perfectly.

I don't understand... there is no setup required. All you can do is create a new preset... and to do that requires your own ears, not mine.

I need help with that too many controls. : S
I have no idea of audio ...
They should have included the Hip Hop / Rap preset. :S

Hi,

Bass starts on the left mids are in the middle and highs or treble are one the right . The first 1/3 of the bands being bass and so on. Make very small adjustments until you find a setting you like . It may take some time there is no way around that. Good Luck

I thought this was exactly what i was looking for. I added the ppa to my software sources as pointed out at https://launchpad.net/~psyke83/+archive/ppa (this machine is running Ubuntu 9.04) and also imported the key successfully

ran the sudo apt-get update but got 404 errors

never mind about the above issue, I clicked on the "View Package Details" link at the top right of the page and found a .deb which i successfully installed

The equalizer won't work on Jaunty unless you manage to upgrade your version of PulseAudio to 0.9.19 or newer (and no, I'm not aware of anywhere which offers such packages for Jaunty).
