    The Newest Ubuntu Release?

Out of bold-faced curiosity (or curiosity)

When do you switch over to the newest release of Ubuntu? Why?

I normally wait until the formal release date. However, this time I've upgraded to Karmic during the RC. I use a MBP and didn't want to look like a dope any more by rebooting. I commonly forgot this problem. Plus, I wanted to beat the rush. Nuts to you, overloaded server!

I switched during BETA. I had lots and lots of crashed on my 64bit Ubuntu. RC seems to be much more stable, though.
Btw, I always switch in BETA. That's when the OS starts getting stable. I'm not a tester, though.

I normally jump on the Beta, unless i've decided to help out with testing for that release, in which case you're able to contribute a lot more if you use the Alpha. I generally look at getting into about Alpha 3 or 4.
