Upgrading 9.04 to Gnome 2.28

Hi all,
May i ask how to upgrade Ubuntu 9.04 from Gnome 2.26.1 to Gnome 2.28 ?
I tried to enable backports in update manager but it don`t show updates for Gnome.
How should i update ?

It's a pretty bad idea to try an upgrade the Gnome version in an Ubuntu release. Ubuntu releases on a 6 month cycle to align with Gnome releases, and the version of Gnome in Ubuntu is core to its ability to function correctly. I don't think newer Gnome versions will be made available in Jaunty any repositories. If you want Gnome 2.28, you will need to upgrade to Karmic - the release candidate is due out in a week or so.
