    Printing, 'Too many failed attempts'

Hi, my printer will only print about one in five jobs; the rest of the time I get 'Failed to print document Too many failed attempts'.

I'm running Xubuntu 9.10 and the printer is a HP Photosmart C4480.

Does anyone know how I could remedy this?

Thanks for answering. How does one go about installing a driver?
