how I can change the icon of some folders and make them like Pictures, Documents, etc

    Hi
If you look inside your home folder some of the directories has a different icons for example pictures, documents, videos and public.

How I can change the icon for some other folders to appear like them or even appear as a custom icon?

I tried emblems but they are not like what Pictures, Documents, and Videos look like.

    thanks

If you're referring to 9.10, those are actually other icons. So you can right click the folder you want to change, go to properties, click the folder icon, and then pick a different one.
If the only reason you think your software is better is because it's FOSS, you need to write better software
