    how much disk should a newly installed ubuntu 9.04 require?

    Not exactly sure but I have it installed on a 4gb flashdrive with about 1.1gb free still. If your wondering how large of a partition you need, I personally use at least 20gb for my main partition at least.

    Recommended is 8GB, min is 4. Mine is about 5.
