    Applet to display an image?

Is there any such applet that, when clicked, will drop down an image, like how clicking the time drops down the calendar in GNOME?

    Many thanks for any suggestions

Re: Applet to display an image?

I'm not aware of one but I haven't looked for one either.

There's a Screenlet that displays/cycles images, if that's what you're after. Search in Synaptic for "screenlet", install, then start the Screenlet manager from Applications/Accessories/Screenlets.

I can't imagine what a drop-down image applet that displays one image could do that a printed image, taped to the monitor frame, wouldn't do better and more conveniently...
