I brought a touchscreen ( 8" widescreen ) for another project which is going to take a while to get to the state where I need the screen. So I thought I would make it useful and use it on my main machine to, say, play videos on while I work on the computer. Or have my MPD client on it.
I can get the touchscreen to work fine if I disconnect the main monitor, but if I have both connected, touching the screen positions the mouse on my main display.
Is there a way of getting the touchscreen to behave as it should ( touching the screen should move the cursor there ) while I have the other screen plugged in and in use? An offset given to the .fdi file perhaps? I don't mind if they are using separate X servers if that is a requirement as I don't intend on dragging windows between them.
