my nvidia driver not work after update HELP PLEASE

hi all

I have update my linux ubuntu hardy heron 8.4 and it was going great , when i update it , the screen go very big and icons go big , all screen big when I go to System->Administration->Hardware Drivers , I found nothing , but the Compiz is work , I think the linux see the Driver but i don't know how to edit the screen size bec it go so big and i can't control the all thing big , and when I go to System->Administration-> Nivida x Server it it give me error:

and when i go to terminal and do ' sudo nvidia-xconfig '

I don't understand. It was working then it stopped working? What does your xorg.conf file look like? Do you have nvidia in the driver section?

Yes it was working great then it stopped working "when I update the kernel" the screen go "big" and icons go "big" , I Try to control in resolution but it get "bigger"

no I don't have nvidia in the driver section

xorg.conf file not with now I'm sending this from my work and my pc in home
