    ebay daily deal images not showing in Firefox

    Hi,

    I'm using Ubuntu 9.04 and Firefox 3.0.13, standard install, no changes made (that I know of) on a Compaq nc6320 laptop. I cannot view the ebay daily deal images.

    Could someone please point me in the right direction for a solution.

    Thanks

    Hey, worldstone,

    Could you post a screenshot so I can get a better idea what the problem is?

    You may try installing the latest Firefox (3.5.1) and see if that works. (I can see images at deals.ebay.com with Firefox 3.5.1 in Ubuntu Jaunty (9.04).)
    Code:
    $ sudo apt-get install firefox-3.5
    Good luck
    -mac

    I've installed Firefox 3.5, but no luck still. Image of the problem attached as I cannot work out how to insert an image!

    Thanks

    worlestone,

    I looked at that very same page with Firefox 3.5.1, and could see the images. Then I turned on Adblock Plus for the page, and my screen looked exactly like your screenshot. Try going to Tools>Add-ons and disabling all plugins. If that fixes it, you know you need to change a setting in one of the plugins.

    Good luck.
