    Angry Connecting to the internet

    Hello everyone,

In order to connect to the internet i have to change the mac address of my pc and then create a pppoe connection. I changed the mac address to the desired using the Edit connection item by right clicking on the connection icon on the task bar. i also used the following command: sudo pppoeconf in order to create my pppoe connection. but the connection icon on the taskbar still have an 'X' on it and i do not have access to the internet.

    Anyone can help?
    thanks in advance

did you try setting an IP address on your network? don't rely on dhcp, i had this problem before, and after setting the ip, everything worked as expected
