    lsi 9260-8i and ubuntu?

Have anyone used this LSI raid card in ubuntu? What did you have to do, if anything at all, to make it work? Or, did the kernel recognize it, picked up the raid as /dev/sda or whatever, and went happily about its business?

I'm looking at trying to get Hardy installed on the same card. Did you have any luck? If so, what did you do to make this work? So far, I haven't been able to get the installer to see the drives - set up a RAID 10 on this card.

Anyone else for that matter have luck with this card? There are drivers provided by LSI, but for Red Hat and SUSE...

Just wanted to post up my results for anyone else needing them. I was able to get this to work with Jaunty. No luck with Hardy however.
