Unhappy Fedora core test Page on Apache Installation

Hi , I am trying to get drupal working on mu Ubuntu 9.04 and when I installed in for the first time , and I went to localhost, I am getting a fedora core test page(from where the hell I am getting this on my Ubuntu..) .(I was ecpecting the customary Apache "It works" page ..)It mentions to go to /var/www/html to add conent but when I do that nothing happens ...
In frustration , I uninstalled eveything , but the stupid fedora page is still coming ...

    Any ideas ??

    Do you have any screenshots?

Did you have fedora installed on the network somewhere? Perhaps localhost somehow is being mapped to a fedora website. I'm not really sure.
