    Storing a sensitive document

I have some config files which contain business passwords which I need to make available to other colleagues. Normally this is on my laptop. I need to store them on our networked Ubuntu server.

    1. The files are OOo spreadsheets and I can configure a password.
    2. Advice as to the best way to store so that a person who is no way literate with things technical (our CEO) can access them in my absence.
    3. Encryption maybe?
    4. Where to put the revealing passwords/keys?

Networked PCs have access to certain shares from networked drives.
