America's Army 25Assist For Ubuntu....

Hey everybody, got a HUGE question. When I try to run AA2.5 for Linux on Ubuntu as soon as I spectate a player or start playing myself, the game freezes. And I mean freeze. The only way to get out of it is to do a hard shut down of my laptop. Any ideas and or assistance would be appreciated...

Additional Info.....
and no...i'm not using wine...i mean i do but not for this...I'm using the 25Assist from 25assist.com....the unofficial deploy for Linux...but when i start the game it just freezes....i mean man, it freezes...and the only way i can get back to my main screen is to do a hard shut down...
