    Programming help

    Hey everyone!

I'm a noob to Ubuntu and I really looking into learning programming such as python and c++ that sort of thing. I know this is really embarrassing but, some input would be a huge help for learning. What would be the best sites, books, etc... to learn programming.

    Thanks

If you're teaching yourself, I'd start with python for sure. It's much easier to learn. Google is your best friend, google "python tutorial" and you'll find tons. Anything else you need to know, use the python documentation (on the official python web page) or just google "python functions", "python strings" etc.
