Microphone on after waking up

Hi,
I have a Lenovo N200 and every time I wake it up, the microphone is on, even though it was off in the Volume Control before going to sleep. It's not a serious problem, but it gets pretty annoying. Each time I hear noises and echoes from the speakers before I turn it off again...

Has anyone faced a similar problem?

If there's a bug in the application sound settings, you might try another application.

Have you tried alsamixergui?

sudo apt-get install alaamixergui

installs the application if it's not in the system already.
