    KDE-Lite

I was thinking if I could get any lite version of KDE. Only the core and i must be able to add the applications i want.
Like if I have ubuntu, if I can install only the KDE-Lite version i can avoid all the unwanted applications that are added.

    Hope I was clear.

If you want a minimal install use kdebase-workspace, kdebase-runtime, kdebase and kdm. Log out, choose session kde4.

If you're looking for a lighter system, and aren't totally locked into KDE, there's always Xubuntu, and soon Lubuntu.
Still hoping a distribution will one day be called "Stylish Skunk"...
